Born in Sydney’s inner west, Otter Craft Distilling (OCD) was founded by siblings Eduard and Julie Otter with a passion for authentic, small-batch spirits. From grain to glass, every drop reflects Australian craftsmanship — locally sourced ingredients, hand-built stills, and a relentless pursuit of purity. OCD creates spirits crafted with purpose, distilled with obsession.



Crafted by distiller Eduard Otter at OCD’s Lilyfield distillery in Sydney, each spirit begins with sustainably sourced barley from a fifth-generation farmer in the Riverina — fully traceable back to the paddock. The barley is malted locally with Voyager Malts, with OCD being the first distillery to partner with them to malt barley specifically for distillation.

The process features a two-week fermentation followed by double distillation in OCD’s custom-designed stills before the spirit is carefully barrelled and left to mature. Each cask is sourced from around the world and carries its own verifiable history.

As a true single malt, single barrel distillery, OCD never blends its barrels or malts — ensuring every release remains pure, distinctive, and true to its origins. Recognised globally, OCD is an award-winning distillery celebrated for its craftsmanship and integrity.
